The Candler Park Neighborhood Organization (CPNO) came into existence in 1971. Before that, Candler Park was part of a neighborhood alliance called BOND (Bass Organization Neighborhood Development) that included Lake Claire, Inman Park and several other adjacent neighborhoods.
The membership approved the most recent amendments to the bylaws on September 21, 2015. Here’s a copy of the bylaws.
To become a member, fill out this online registration form, or contact the Membership Secretary for a paper form. Membership in the CPNO does not require a fee, although a voluntary contribution is encouraged. Please contribute here!
Only registered members are eligible to vote at monthly meetings, and you must be a member by the first of that month. Memberships expire at the end of each calendar year and members are asked to renew by visiting this page.
CPNO meetings are the third Monday of every month (6:30 pm social time, 7 pm meeting start) at the Old Stone Church – 470 Candler Park Drive, across from the golf course.
We love to see new faces! It’s a great way to learn what’s going on in our ‘hood, and to meet neighbors. There’s free child care for the kiddies, plus snacks & beverages for grown-ups. Please join us!
The CPNO Board meets on the second Monday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Epworth United Methodist Church – 1561 McLendon Avenue. You will find the board meeting minutes published here.
The meeting Guidelines and Rules are summarized here.
