V-19-156, 1270 Euclid Avenue: Applicant seeks variance to reduce the front yard setback from 35 feet to 22 feet, reduction of the west side yard setback from 7ft to 5 ft and to exceed the allowed lot coverage from 50% to 81% for construction of a new home on a vacant R4 zoned lot.
Z-19-56: Purpose of the ordinance is to correct typos from a 2008 ordinance to prohibit rooming houses in commercial zones C-1 and C-2. Update of the code resulted in typos or “scriveners errors” causing the final ordinance to prohibit rooming houses in C-4 districts even though they are allowed in C-3 and C-5 districts by special use permit. This ordinance corrects those errors and will allow rooming houses in C-4 districts by special use permit.
