Discussion:
●Candler Park Conservancy: Dan Hanlon and Ken Edelstein, representing the Candler Park Conservancy, requested a letter of support from the Board for the Active Lawn and Amphitheater projects within Candler Park. Matt Kirk will write the letter. After explaining the planning of these projects, they also are requesting a donation of $120,000 over a two year period for the funding of these projects.
●FallFest 2019: Ken Edelstein, Chairman of FallFest, reported an approximate income of $41,000 from the event. Members of the FallFest Committee who will not return next year are Ken Edelstein, Chris Fitzgerald, Corey Anderson, and Rachel Booser. He suggested 4 possibilities: 1) Separate Festival from Tour of Homes; 2) 5K run operated by the Candler Park Conservancy; 3) Paid Project Manager-$15,000; 4) Skip FallFest next year and concentrate on Tour of Homes.
●Nominating Committee Update: Ken Edelstein was unable to report anything concerning the 2020 Slate. Bonnie Palter will contact Jay Sandhaus for the Slate.
● Finances- Rihini Kukrega, Treasurer, reviewed income/expenses for 2019. The discussion revolved around whether or not we could afford what the Conservancy is requesting as a donation.
●Movie Liaisons to the City of Atlanta are Susan Rose and Molly Saft. Molly Saft will need to be appointed by the Board.
●Zoning: Bill Morris,Chairman, reported on the 3 applications.
