- V-21-178 – 466 Page Ave – Variance request to reduce front yard and north side yard setback to construct additions to an existing single-family residence.
Review and Comment:
This month CPNO will submit comments on the proposed rezoning and changes to MR-MU code below. The Zoning Committee is especially interested this month in developing comments/proposals that would improve this legislation for Candler Park. The Yes/No vote on this legislation will be in September.
- Z-21-73 – Rezone properties to MR-MU within ½ mile of MARTA Stations – see MAP – MR-MU = Multi-Residential Multi-Unit – see below for details.
- Z-21-74 – Changes to MR-MU code (Ordinance 21-O-0456) – in conjunction with the rezoning above, this ordinance amends the current MR-MU code to provide incentive for building affordable units within MR-MU, allow multiple structures, and eliminate parking minimums within 1/2 mile of MARTA.
- Land Use Amendment 21-O-0455/CDP-21-043 – in conjunction with Z-21-73, summary and full CDP-21-043
Note the above files are official from the NPU-N/City. Amir’s originally proposed “3 ordinances” appear to have been consolidated and can essentially be broken down into 1) proposal to rezone properties within a 1/2 mile walkshed of Marta Stations to MR-MU, and 2) to edit the MR-MU (Multi-Residential Multi-Unit)
