The meeting was called to order by Christina Hodgen, President. The motion to adopt the agenda was by unanimous consent. The motion to approve the April Minutes was by unanimous consent.
New Business:
● Technology Committee
Motion to appoint Russell Miller as Chairman of The Technology Committee was by unanimous consent. The motion to appoint Aaron Hodgen and Phillip Ehrenberg as Committee members passed.
Old Business
● The first hybrid meeting for Members will be May 15, 2023, 7:00pm at the First Existentialist Church. The meeting capacity for Zoom is 100 participants. It will cost $50/2 months to increase.
Committee Updates
● Safer McLendon- Motion (from Committee) to support The Safer McLendon Plan as presented to the Membership in April passed.
Officer Updates
● Treasurer- Amy Wheeler
Donations for the month were $2,000. Fall Fest has $7,000; Historic Designation Committee has received $1,000.
Fall Fest- Amy announced some of the exciting changes being made such a two stages for music and a Volunteer Coordinator. Also a Beaver Tour.
● Membership- Roger Bakeman
The plug in on the website has been repaired. Renewing Members will be able to now their status. “Renewing Members will be told the date they last renewed; if this year, they will know they have already renewed for the year. This eliminates the need for the previous specialized plugin which had failed to work properly.”
● Zoning- Jason Key
1. Z-23-29 AN ORDINANCE BY COUNCILMEMBER MARCI COLLIER OVERSTREET TO AMEND THE 1982 ATLANTA ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, IN RESPONSE TO THE PASSING OF HOUSE BILL 1405 IN THE STATE LEGISLATURE, AND IN COMPLIANCE WITH O.C.G.A. 36-66-1 ET SEQ.; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
2. Moreland Avenue Developer met Josephine Avenue Residents.
