The current Bylaws for the Candler Park Neighborhood Organization were approved by the membership September 21, 2015. Subsequent amendments approved by the membership are as follows:
September 19, 2016. Article IV Section 12 (Officers, Term Limits). Amended to allow term limits to be waived in specified circumstances.
September 18, 2017. Article IV Section 3 (Officers, Qualifications). Reduced the number of CPNO meetings attended in the previous year required to be elected as an officer from three to two.
May 20, 2024. Article VI, Sections 4(a) and 5(b) (Meetings, Notice of Meetings, Previous Notice of Motions). Amended notice from 5 to 10 days to comply with state requirements.
May 20, 2024. Article VI, Section 9 (Meetings, Proxy Voting) renumbered to Section 10 to allow for new Section 9.
May 20, 2024. Article VI, new Section 9 added (Meetings, Voting) added. Voting on substantive motions changed from in-person at the monthly meeting to online, with voting allowed until midnight the day after the meeting.
July 20, 2026. Article IV, Sections 4, 5, and 6 (Officers, Nominations, Elections, Terms of Office). The November voting for officers moved from an in-person to an online procedure. Consequently, any nominations from the floor were moved from the November to the October meeting. Voting follows the online procedure specified in Article VI, Section 9.
July 20, 2026. Article IX, Section 2 (Decorum, Gaining the Floor). Amended to take into account hybrid meetings (some in-person, others remote online).
