Safer McLendon Project

The Safer McLendon Project was formed by the Candler Park Neighborhood Organization (CPNO) Infrastructure Committee as it recognized the increase in non-vehicular travel on McLendon and the safety issues that have resulted. As McLendon runs through Lake Claire as well, Safer McLendon then added Lake Claire committee members to ensure broad and informed input. An improved McLendon corridor is a natural extension of already planned and designed upgrades to Euclid Avenue in Little Five Points and Inman Park. The Infrastructure Committee reports back to CPNO and Lake Claire Neighbors and seeks community involvement which is vital to understanding issues and developing solutions to make McLendon Avenue safer for all. Donations are welcome. To learn more, visit their website.
