CPNO Members voted on five issues at the meeting on Feb. 19: An infrastructure item, three motions to amend the bylaws and one to approve the 2024 budget.
The infrastructure issue (a motion to have the Infrastructure Committee study the feasibility of installing a gate in the fence separating Iverson Park from the MARTA station) as well as the budget, required a simple majority. Both passed.
The three motions involving amendments to the bylaws required the support of two thirds of voting members to pass:
The first motion passed (to amend the bylaws to come into compliance with state law).
The two other motions failed (one addressing voting and another addressing member registration).
