The meeting was called to order at 7:07 pm by Emily Taff, President. The motion to adopt the agenda passed. Motion to approve the January minutes as corrected passed.
Historic District Working Group- Mary Shaltis updated the Board on the progress of the group and requested CPNO act a fiscal agent for the group. The motion: “ The Board shall bring a motion to the membership that CPNO serve as a financial umbrella for the working group studying the pro and cons of a historic district for Candler Park in order to facilitate their preliminary studies” passed. The motion to call the question passed.
Infrastructure Committee-Christina Hodgen requested $500.00 for application fee to an ARC grant.
Treasurer Report-Amy Wheeler presented the 2022 budget for the Board’s approval.
Communication- Ryan Anderson reported that ‘Google Workspace’ will begin to charge for its services beginning in March. He will explore the possibility of a free version that might be available for non-profit organizations.
Fundraising-Hallie Meushaw reported that the ‘Pop-Up’ on Sunday, February 6, made $200 from merchandise sold.
Safety- Kerry Dobson reported that APD is requesting through ‘Connect Atlanta’ residents to register, at no cost, their Ring cameras to assist with their investigations.
External Affairs- Amy Stout is asking that the NPU change their meeting dates around the holidays so that there is no conflict with neighborhood meetings.
Zoning-DJ Roedger reports that the Zoning Committee supports the zoning changes proposed for North Avenue as presented by Jessica Lavandier of the City Planning Department.
Messenger- Emily Taff will handle the editing of the Messenger this month. A possible candidate, Laura Power, has expressed interest.
