Fall Fest is taking COVID precautions very seriously. Throughout our planning, we have consulted with scientific and medical experts, as well as our community members, and we feel we have taken appropriate actions to ensure a safe festival for the entire family. We are taking the following steps—and asking our community to do their part in keeping us safe and healthy this year:
We ask that all attendees be fully vaccinated if eligible.
We strongly encourage mask wearing, especially in situations where distancing is not possible.
We have scaled down the overall size of the event and will now be more spread out inside of the park. We have also spread the music out throughout the day so we have more consistent traffic versus a higher concentration at night.
We recommend that attendees take a surveillance test in the week leading up to the festival. We recommend that parents also have their children tested.
We will have signs up throughout the event reminding attendees to wear a mask when distancing is not possible.
Masks are recommended for children in Kidlandia, especially when visiting vendor booths, and they are required on all inflatables. The Mary Lin PTA will have extra masks available for children if needed. PTA volunteers will also limit the number of children on each inflatable at one time. Hand sanitizing stations will be present throughout Kidlandia.
All food vendors, artist market vendors, and event sponsors will wear masks when interacting with festival attendees.
All vendors and artists will have hand sanitizer available. We will have an extensive network of hand sanitizing stations throughout the festival. We have also tripled the number of hand washing stations that will be available.
Thank you for your efforts to keep Fall Fest and our neighborhood healthy!
