Big Update: February Meeting Voting Results

February 29, 2024 By CPNO Staff

CPNO Members voted on five issues at the meeting on Feb. 19: An infrastructure item, three motions to amend the bylaws and one to approve the 2024 budget.

The infrastructure issue (a motion to have the Infrastructure Committee study the feasibility of installing a gate in the fence separating Iverson Park from the MARTA station) as well as the budget, required a simple majority. Both passed.

The three motions involving amendments to the bylaws required the support of two thirds of voting members to pass:

The first motion passed (to amend the bylaws to come into compliance with state law).

The two other motions failed (one addressing voting and another addressing member registration).

See the results of these votes below:

But first: Coming off a month of heated debates, click or tap here to read this letter from the CPNO board about how we treat our neighbors and what happens when things get a little too spirited.
