Bank Fraud Resolved

By Wood Alter. As many residents may have heard, CPNO was the victim of fraud last fall. First and foremost: as of the time of this publication, all funds stolen from CPNO have been made whole by Chase Bank.
2026 Candler Park Egg Hunt and More

By Lillian Aynes. This spring, the community gathered in Candler Park on March 29 to celebrate with an egg hunt and candy. This year, the tradition expanded from an egg hunt to a larger gathering with even more activities for the children.
Footgolf is Coming to Candler Park Golf Course

Upcoming Events
Black Maternal Health Walk & Community Fair – April 11 @ 9am

Each year, this event brings together Black mothers, families, birth workers, advocates, and community members for a vibrant day focused on connection, care, and collective action. The celebration starts with a morning walk and continues with a variety of family-friendly activities, including food, live entertainment, health screenings, local vendors, and access to community resources.
Centered around the theme “Rooted in Justice and Joy,” the gathering highlights healing, resilience, and the strength of community in promoting maternal health equity. The Black Maternal Health Walk and Community Fair is free, open to all, and welcomes those wishing to honor loved ones or stand in support of Black mothers in a shared, inclusive space.
