Since our last update, you may have been wondering what is happening with Verdura Pizza on the corner of McLendon and Moreland. Recently David Smith, Verdura co-owner, provided this update (lightly edited) to the Little 5 Points Alliance: We are striving to have final inspections completed between the end of this week and the beginning of next week in order to obtain our certificate of occupancy from the City Of Atlanta. Then, we will call for our health inspection and apply for our Atlanta Business License. We are on their March calendars to go back to the Candler Park Neighbor Organization and the Inman Park Neighborhood Association with respect to the Liquor License. As you may be aware, we went through the process last year and we were approved by the Liquor Board. Since we are in 2024, we have to refresh some of the steps. In the perfect world, we will be open in April.
