Zoom Member Meetings – a Path Forward

December 9, 2022

from the CPNO Board:

At CPNO’s November 2022 Member Meeting, the Zoom platform limited attendance to 100 participants and members who wanted to participate could not log in. As a result, CPNO could not proceed with planned votes. The Zoom participant limit took the CPNO Board by complete surprise and we feel compelled to share the steps taken to remedy the issue. The surge in CPNO membership and overall interest in CPNO is exciting and the CPNO Board continues to work diligently to keep the meeting voting process fair and transparent.

To fix the participant limit issue, CPNO has updated its Zoom license to accommodate large member meetings and the December CPNO meeting will allow up to 1,000 Zoom participants.CPNO welcomes all input and technical knowledge to help streamline the virtual meeting process. If anyone has experience with a different platform that might be a better fit for member meetings or other suggestions, please volunteer your expertise! All submissions can be sent to board@candlerpark.org and thank you.

Thank you for understanding!
