The motion to initiate the Nomination of a Candler Park Historic District by submitting the proposed regulations as amended to the Atlanta Urban Design Commission did not pass with 48.0% of votes in favor.
The Historic District Committee was looking for a 2/3 vote in support to pass the measure. 51 ballots were submitted by people who did not join/renew by the October 1 deadline and are not included in the below numbers. All ballots had their residency verified in 2024.
