By The CPNO Board
The Board of the Candler Park Neighborhood Organization wants to thank everyone in Candler Park for your cooperation in the recent push to verify residency in the community. We understand this process was stressful and we deeply appreciate your willingness to help out.
We are happy to report that by checking member addresses against voter registration data, the Board has been able to verify all but a couple dozen folks in the neighborhood.
At this point, if you have renewed or joined CPNO in 2024 and we were UNABLE to verify your residency, one of the Board members will reach out to you directly. If you renewed or joined in 2024 and did not receive an email from us, then your residency in Candler Park has been verified. The Board members will continue trying to connect with the few remaining people whose residency we have been unable to verify. If you get a call or an email from one of us, please work with us. We are willing to meet in person if that’s what it takes.
The Historic District will review the proposed regulations at the next CPNO meeting on Monday, September 16th at 7pm. There will be time for discussion at the September meeting. The HD vote is slated for the October CPNO meeting, Monday October 21st.
Per CPNO’s bylaws, as long as your membership has been renewed by the first day of the month, you will be able to vote on upcoming CPNO issues. To check on your renewed status, simply go to this link on CPNO’s website. The prompt will ask you to log in and it will give you the date that you last renewed.
As always, if anyone has any problem with the process or if anyone has a question about it, please email the CPNO Board at board@candlerpark.org.
